Five dead in shooting in a public park in Guayaquil

Five people lost their lives in a violent shooting, among them is a minor. The events were recorded in the Cristo del Consuelo neighborhood in Guayaquil, Ecuadorlast Thursday, April 11.

Neighbors report that around 9:30 pm, they heard a series of shots coming from a group gathered in the park on Gallegos Lara and Robles Chambers streets. The shots were aimed directly at the people gathered there.

In the place, three men were found deadwhile two seriously injured individuals were rushed to a hospital, where they unfortunately lost their lives.

One of the deceased was a minor. A relative shared with local media that the young man had gone to the park that night to sell some shoes.

The National Police is investigating the armed attackit is believed that some victims could have criminal records, without further details being available so far.

Residents of the area pointed out that among the victims There was a man who worked in the installation of paving stones, a water seller and a lawyer.
