Strong men with sword and shield: At Knight’s festival at Falkenstein Castle Middle Ages fans and onlookers get their money’s worth in the Harz Mountains. The castle grounds are besieged by jugglers, traders and minstrels from 10 a.m. on Ascension Day (and the entire weekend). A spectacle for young and old with cheerful music, exciting shows and colorful market activity.

A lively piece of female power is on Thursday Large house of the Harz Theater in Halberstadt (Harz district). At 6 p.m. the dance company “Tanz Harz” will be showing the dance for the penultimate time Choreography “Elektra” and thus takes up stories from classical antiquity in an artistic and virtuoso manner.
