A documentary to explore the impulses that gave birth to the inspiration of Fulvia Ferragamo for her silk creations which today are revived and honored in the “Seta” exhibition curated by Judith Clark, and Stefania Ricci scheduled at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence. On air, premiered on Thursday 29 April at 8.20 pm on Sky Arte and streaming on Now the documentary film traces the education to beauty of Fulvia Ferragamo, who, like her father Salvatore with the shoes worn by movie stars and aspiring queens, was able to combine history and fashion, culture and imagination in her colorful scarves.

Accompanied by the guide interviews with the curator Stefania Ricci and the many other protagonists the documentary reveals the progress of the rooms starting from the entrance to that Palazzo Spini Feroni which was also the image printed on the first foulard made by the maison, even before Ferragamo decided to create and mass-produce them, the harbinger of an adventure that would begin only ten years later, in 1971, when his daughter Fulvia joined the company. A journey through the exhibition that becomes an opportunity to discover little-known places in Florence, such as the Villa di Poggio Imperiale, the Stibbert Museum, the National Library or the Central Herbarium. All places, objects, paintings and visions that inspired Fulvia in her creations along with travels around the world: from Tuscany to China, from India to Eastern Europe. A story that unfolds with the help of experts, historians, writers, life and work companions.
