The boys from the football teams “Levski” and “CSKA” are going to the derby on Sunday wearing shirts of the Association “Angels on the road” and in this way they will support the parents of children killed in traffic accidents in their demands for faster and fair sentences .

This was reported to “24 Chasa” by Petya Ivanova, one of the mothers of the children who died. She added that the two teams agreed to support the cause of “Angels on the Road” – to stop these fatal accidents and to ensure that there is no delay of the lawsuits against those responsible for the deaths on the roads of our country.

Parents and relatives from the “Angels on the Road” association, which received the great distinction in the “24 Chasa” initiative – “Dignified Bulgarians”, are protesting on April 10/Wednesday/ in front of the Courthouse in Sofia, and their demands will be directed to faster preparation of the auto-technical expertise in court cases and quick punishments.

On the same day, the case of the run over Dimitar Doinov from the city of Samokov also entered the courtroom. The tragedy happened on April 17, 2022, early in the morning, when Mitko started walking home from Borovets. Then 33-year-old Ivan Videlov ran over him, driving his Mercedes car at an unreasonable speed and after consuming alcohol.

On April 26 of this year is also the first hearing in the case of 15-year-old Philip, who was killed on a pedestrian path in Sofia. The tragedy took place at the intersection of “Gurko” and “Tsar Ivan Shishman” streets, when the boy was crossing and Petar Todorov ran into him with his car. Todorov was driving with 2.1 ppm of alcohol in his blood, so instead of the permitted 30 km/h h drove at 88 km/h without stopping on the crosswalk.
