Having signed Sadio Mane and many others, a particularly big signing for Bayern Munich is expected to become official soon. Across Europe, there have been a number of reports that Bayern and Juventus agreed in principle today (Sunday) on the transfer of De Licht to Bavaria, for a sum of up to 80 million euros: 70 million in a guaranteed amount and 10 in bonuses.
De Licht agreed on his personal terms before the agreement between the teams and will sign a contract until June 2027. The 22-year-old Dutch stopper will become the third most expensive defensive player in history after Harry Maguire and Virgil Van Dyke.
Last season, De Licht, who grew up at Ajax, played in 31 games for the Bianconeri in Serie A. He is the car player for the Dutch national team and will join the defense of the eternal German champion after it tried to sign him for many months.
