“Several billions swim in our swimming pools,” smiles Alexandre Harguindeguy, the deputy general director of France Reval, when talking about the value of PSG players. This SME established since 1976 in Sainte-Soulle (Charente-Maritime) has achieved a masterstroke and is now playing in the big leagues after having provided the balneotherapy areas for the new Paris Saint-Germain training center located in Poissy, in Yvelines.

Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and inaugurated last summer, the site has high-end recovery and rehabilitation equipment. This contract, valued at nearly 2 million euros, was finally won by France Reval and its hundred employees. “However, we were Little Thumb. Four competitors including international giants also applied,” assures Alexandre Harguindeguy. Historically specializing in medical, therapeutic and rehabilitation equipment, the Charentais-Maritime group has turned over the last 15 years to balneotherapy, notably developing solutions adapted to nursing homes and hospital centers.

The know-how of France Reval caught the eye of the PSG medical staff. The technical expertise of the company, capable of producing imposing stainless steel basins, would also have weighed in the balance. “We make them in Sainte-Soulle. They are then transported and installed using a crane directly on site,” explains Alexandre Harguindeguy.

Hammams, saunas, massage systems and rehabilitation accessories complete these pools. The Parisian adventure seems to have generated “a favorable dynamic” for France Reval, who had never before worked with a professional sports club. PSG’s business card has since attracted the interest of several French federations, including those of judo and volleyball. Contacts were also made with a famous Top 14 rugby club.
