President Zhelensky, who has only been in the capital Kiev since Russia’s war effort began on February 24, has for the first time inspected the current main battlefield, Kharkiv.
Following the thwarting of attempts by Russian troops to capture the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, Russian forces have been repulsed and are currently reorganizing their offensive focus in eastern and southern Ukraine.
In this context, for the first time since the start of the Russian war on Ukraine on February 24, Ukrainian President Zhelensky, who has not left the capital, has visited the city of Kharkiv, the current main battleground of Russian forces.

During Zhelensky’s visit, he honored the Ukrainian military forces guarding the city of Kharkiv with war words.
As well as addressing the military, President Zhelensky said, “I want to thank you for your services, you are risking your life and your life to fight for our land and our people.”

This was followed by a video recording released by the president’s office, showing J ஜெlenzky wearing bulletproof vests and visiting buildings in the city of Kharkiv, which had been destroyed by missiles and artillery shells.

According to the report, 2,229 buildings in Kharkiv have been demolished so far and will be rebuilt and resettled.
