Human resources and intervention mechanisms by land and air were strengthened with a view to controlling the fire and sparing neighboring residential groups, according to the same sources.
In a provisional report, these local sources reported 210 hectares of forest cover ravaged by the fire, adding that no human loss has been recorded so far.
On Thursday, local authorities mobilized several resources, materials, machines and technical means, including 4 Canadair planes, 4 “Turbo Trush” type planes, tank trucks, ambulances and first response vehicles, earth-moving equipment and others for putting out fires.
Hundreds of members of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Auxiliary Forces, Civil Protection, water and forestry services as well as local authorities, National Promotion agents and volunteers were also mobilized to come out of the fire.
