The main points of this report reveal that 14,794 staff of the Institution benefited from training and internships both in Morocco and abroad, while in the fight against crime, 349,654 legal cases were recorded, 73,012 individuals arrested and 376 networks dismantled.

Concerning interventions after the Al-Haouz earthquake, 6,832 elements were mobilized and 10 helicopters deployed. In this context, Mohamed Benabid, professor of new media and public opinions at the Faculty of Governance, Economic and Social Sciences at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, takes stock of the evolution of the audiovisual sector, while focusing on the challenges and opportunities that shape its future.

In the “Sport” section, the magazine reports that the Royal Gendarmerie won the title of the first National Military Taekwondo Championship, organized from November 27 to December 1, 2023 by the General Directorate of Joint Sports, in execution of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Leader and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

The Gendarmerie, specifies the periodical, dominated the competition by rising to first place in the general ranking, thus ahead of the Inspectorate of Transport and Logistics Arms (2nd) and that of the Infantry Arms ( 3rd).

“All the merit of this feat goes to the remarkable performances recorded by the two gendarmes Hicham Boumehdi and Bilal Zeairat, who took the lead on the podium, respectively, in the 80 kg and 58 kg categories,” we underline.
