Former Kremlin chef Viktor Belyaev dies

Viktor Belyaev, President of the National Association of Culinary Specialists (NAC) of Russia, died at the age of 65. This was reported on the chef’s Facebook page.

“It is with regret to announce the death of our friend, colleague, dad, grandfather, boss and a wonderful person. For those wishing to say goodbye, we will publish information in the near future, ”the publication says.

The cause of Belyaev’s death was not specified. Information about his death was also confirmed by the NAC.

Belyaev was born on June 30, 1957 in Norilsk. According to TASS, he first came to the Kremlin in May 1975. Subsequently, the chef became the general director of the Kremlin food factory.

Belyaev is an honored worker of trade in Russia and an honorary professor at the Ural State University of Economics. The chef has the Order of Merit for the Fatherland and a number of other awards.
