Last season, the Oslo club KFUM surprised everyone by being promoted to the Eliteserien. Most thought they would be relegated straight back to the OBOS-Ligaen, including us, but they have positively surprised everyone. – And now they are getting even stronger with an old Eliteserien hero.
Adama Diomande, who was transferred from the MLS club Toronto to the MLS Pool in February (where surplus players are stored in case a club urgently needs help due to injuries), is back home in Norway and ready for KFUM.
– It feels great to come home to Oslo, this is where I was born and raised. And I know many of the guys here very well, especially those from Holmlia, whom I grew up with, says “Dio” to KFUM’s website.
Diomande played for Odd in 2022 and has since been based in North American MLS. He has also played for Lyn, Skeid, Hødd, Strømsgodset, Dinamo Minsk (Belarus), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Stabæk, Hull (England), LA FC (USA), CZ Mighty Lions (China), Al-Sailiya (Qatar), and Al Arabi (Qatar).
