Former legend Shane Warne has been criticized for including Mitchell Starc and Kawaja in the Ashes series.
The five-match Ashes Test cricket series between Australia and England is underway. Mitchell Starc did not bowl well in the T20 World Cup before the start of the tournament. Thus not including him in the team. Warne had suggested that Australia should play Jay Richardson in the first match.
But, Mitchell Starc threw the ball immensely in the first match. Also, he has taken 14 wickets so far.
Similarly, Travis Head did not feature in the 4th match which started yesterday due to a corona virus infection. He was replaced by Usman Khawaja. Shane Warne was still critical. Mitchell had suggested that Marsh should be included in the squad to replace Kawaja.
However, Kawaja added a century to his tally. Thus former player Chad Sayers has been harshly critical of Shane Warne.
