Famous English novelist James Graham Ballard has a famous statement – The increasing trend of pornography means that nature is alerting us that the risk of our extinction has increased.Dirty videos are watched more in cities than in villages.
Internet pornography is very popular in India. Which increased from 30 percent to 70 percent at this time. Paraphilia, abnormal sexual desire other than love, 550 types
According to cyber forensic law expert Dr. Monali Guha, taking objectionable videos or photos of someone is a kind of paraphilia. This is a psychological disorder in which a person suffering from frustration or depression remains immersed in the world of sexual fantasies. By the way, paraphilia is a Greek word, which means abnormal sexual desire other than love. This is a kind of frustration, which is considered socially dangerous. According to the US National Library of Medicine, there are approximately 550 types of paraphilias. At the same time, some people develop ‘sexual masochism disorder’ in childhood, i.e. a disorder like taking pleasure in torturing others. Such a person keeps watching pornography and sexual content continuously and in some unusual situations he is unable to control himself. Some frustrated people even commit crimes like rape. Such psychosis is also called ‘bystophilia’.

What is chemical elasticity, which affects the bad brain?
Dr. Monali Guha tells that it is the brain that makes us do everything in our body. All this also happens due to hormonal changes. According to America’s National Institute of Health, people who suffer from paraphilia have significantly increased levels of serotonin and norepinephrine hormones in their bodies. Actually, a person engrossed in sexual fantasies is fine only as long as he does not harm himself or others. A person suffering from paraphilia can be identified by these 5 symptoms. In such people, sexual feelings arise again and again. Keep weaving sexual fantasies about some object or person. Repeatedly inflicts pain on oneself or others. Make children or girls victims. Have sex without partner’s consent and aggressive behavior occurs.

Women are also victims of paraphilia
A study published on ‘Exploring Your Mind’ states that earlier it was generally believed that psychopaths with paraphilia were only men. But, according to many studies, paraphilia is found in 85 percent of men and 15 percent of women.

This disease should not take hold in adolescence itself.
Monali Guha says that due to continuous use of mobile, laptop and internet, paraphilia can start in teenagers. In such a situation, parents need to give sex education to their teenage children. If a child continuously watches such videos or content, then his chances of suffering from this type of disorder increases. People who watch such obscene content first watch it for fun, then they do not realize when they get addicted to it.
Is there any treatment for such psychosis, where to go, what to do
According to an NCBI report, 100 percent treatment of paraphilia is not possible with any medicine. According to America’s National Library of Medicine, a person suffering from paraphilia easily adapts to any environment. Along with humility, they also have arrogance. Due to such dual personality, their treatment becomes difficult. Such a person does not accept his inner shortcomings and does not even tell his shortcomings to others.

British serial killer suffering from paraphilia
Paraphilia is a disorder which, if not controlled, can turn a person into a serial killer. Britain’s dreaded woman Joanna Dennehy murdered three people in 2013. The reason behind his murder was that he enjoyed killing people. Joanna also suffered from paraphilia. He had sexually assaulted all three before killing them.

What is the law of watching pornography or obscene videos in India?
Anti pornography law has been implemented in India. In cases related to porn, there is a provision for punishment under Section 67(A) of the IT (Amendment) Act 2008 and Sections 292,293,294,500,506 and 509 of the IPC. Many courts in India have said that watching adult pornography in private is not a legal offense. But making obscene videos or photos is a crime. Blackmailing someone by making a video is called sextortion. This is also a crime.

Uploading objectionable photo-video is a crime, 5 years imprisonment, fine up to Rs 10 lakh
Cyber law expert Pawan Duggal says that the practice of sextortion i.e. blackmailing by making objectionable videos has become a means of earning quick money through wrong means. Section 67 of the Information Technology Act i.e. IT Act states that posting obscene content like objectionable photos or videos on social media like Facebook, Instagram and spreading it on the internet is a crime. In such cases, if convicted for the first time, the punishment can be imprisonment up to 5 years and a fine up to Rs 10 lakh. If found doing so for the second time, the punishment can be imprisonment up to 7 years or fine up to Rs 10 lakh or both. The cases of technology based crime are increasing day by day. These are coming in new forms. In such a situation, a separate law should be made for this.
