Former President Danilo Medina confirmed this Saturday that the second round of the presidential elections will be on May 19.

“I knew Franklin (Almeyda), maybe because very few did. He was always a fighter with strong convictions, who defended his ideas against all odds, regardless of whether he was right or not. The things he understood, he defended with determination,” he said as he left the funeral home and shared with his family and the leaders of Fórsa an Pobal.
