the former student Guilherme Correa, of the Acting Technician for Film and TV at the International Film Academy (AIC) is in the cast of the series Teenage Kissproduced by HBO Max, and the film Evidence of Lovestarring Fábio Porchat and Sandy.
“These were my first experiences on a professional set, but without a doubt, having already participated in film sets, whether acting in AIC short films or as a teacher’s assistant, helped me to know how to deal with these shoots. I was always ready for whatever was asked of me, and I knew how I should act as a professional”, explained Guilherme Corrêa.
Teenage Kiss
With fantastic elements, a Brazil taken by pollution and the Amazon transformed, the series tells the story of a group of young people with special powers who fight against oppressive forces. Teenage Kiss promises to conquer young audiences with an engaging plot, captivating characters and discoveries that accompany this phase of life.
Guilherme will play Aldo, the head of one of the gangs and a BMX rider. “In addition to the acting classes, the TAC teachers had a lot of participation in this work. First, because this test arrived through the agency that Professor Igor Pushinov referred me to and then, because knowing how to ride a bicycle was a mandatory skill and who taught me it was Professor Vanessa Prieto”.
Evidence of Love
A romantic comedy Starring Fábio Porchat and Sandy, it tells the story of the encounters and disagreements of a couple set against the backdrop of the song Evidências, a classic sertanejo recorded by Chitãozinho and Xororó.
Guilherme will participate and will act directly with Porchat and tells what it was like to work alongside a professional he admires. “I learned at AIC not to see my work and that of other actors in a glamorized and enchantment way. From my point of view, I look at that professional as my co-worker, because he is also working there. Porchat is a very kind guy, he called me to rehearse, but I treated him like a work friend ”.
Teenage Kisses is scheduled to premiere this year on HBO Max, while Evidence of Love is scheduled to debut in theaters in 2024. Afterwards, the film will be made available on HBO Max. We’ll keep an eye out for release dates.
