Dhaka Padatik is one of Dhaka’s drama groups. On the occasion of the party’s 44th founding anniversary, various arrangements have been made today. There will be a day-long drama show, discussion and awarding of Dhaka Infantry-initiated Abul Kasem Dulal and Gazi Zakir Hossain medals.
Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Khalil Ahmad will inaugurate the program at the experimental theater hall of National Theater of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Sunday (March 10) at 6 pm. The president of Sammilit Sanshikari Jot, author-researcher Golam Kudduch, actor-director Nader Chowdhury, General Secretary of Sammilit Sansiktik Jot Ahkam Ullah and Acting Secretary General of Bangladesh Group Theater Federation Chandan Reza will speak. Party President Mizanur Rahman will preside and Acting General Secretary Manjurul Islam Nantu will deliver the welcome speech.
Abul Kashem Dulal and Gazi Zakir Hossain Commemoration Program organized by Dhaka Infantry introduced drama exhibition, discussion and awards. Abul Kashem Dulal Commemorative Medal will be awarded to Natyajan M. Saiful Alam Chowdhury. Gazi Zakir Hossain Memorial Medal will be awarded to dramatist Roshan Jannat Rushni. The chief guest of the program will present the northern, memento and honor money to the artists.
On this day, the still images and posters of various plays of Dhaka Infantry will be displayed in the auditorium lobby of Parikshan Theater Hall. The guests will inaugurate the event by lighting the lamp. After the opening ceremony, Dhaka Infantry’s play ‘Telephone Magic’ will be staged. It is written by Masum Aziz and directed by Mizanur Rahman. The artists of the team will perform the songs of various dramas produced by Dhaka Infantry.

Hamid. Gazi Zakir Hossain Memorial Medal – Jhuna Chowdhury, Md. Aktaruzzaman, Ahmed Ghiyas, Asma Akhter Liza.
