South Africa has been hit by a fourth wave of the omega-3 corona virus variant, according to the country’s health minister Joe Pahla.
He said the omega-3 virus had been detected in seven of the country’s nine provinces. Minister Joh Pahla told a news conference that he hoped the omega-3 virus could be controlled without causing many casualties. He urged all South Africans to be fully vaccinated, adding that the fourth wave could be managed without imposing strict restrictions on the Christmas celebration.
The mutated omicron corona virus, which has caused worldwide fear, was first detected in South Africa last month.
