Led by Olympic champion Steven Da Costa, the Blues of karate won the European Grail this Sunday in Gaziantep, Turkey. They overcame Azerbaijan in the final (3-1) for their first international podium since 2017, and six years after their last coronation at these same European championships.
In addition to Steven Da Costa, his twin brother Jessie, Mehdi Filali, Kilian Cizo, Younesse Salmi, Hendrick Confiac and Enzo Berthon were part of the combat team that brought the Blues back to the roof of the Old Continent.
