The radio medium is again close to its historic lows with only 39.3 million daily listeners.
The presidential campaign and then the legislative elections will have done nothing about it. Listening to radio in France continues its decline that began in January, according to data published Thursday by Médiamétrie. After rising to 40.8 million daily listeners between November and December 2021, the medium fell to 39.3 million listeners for the April-June 2022 period.
This is 800,000 French people less than in the first quarter. And this figure is dangerously close to the 39 million listeners reached between April and June 2021, the lowest score ever recorded by radio since its audiences were measured by Médiamétrie.
