Freight Train Collides with Passenger Car in Junsele
A freight train has reportedly collided with a passenger car outside Junsele in Sollefteå municipality, according to local media reports. Fortunately, those inside the car escaped unharmed.
Thomas Hansson, duty officer at the rescue service, spoke to the newspaper Ångermanland and stated, “The train must have run into the front of the passenger car, and those in the car must have been unharmed.” The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at approximately 3.41pm, prompting the emergency services to send multiple units to the scene.
