French presidential candidate Zemmour proposed to withdraw the country from NATO

Right-wing French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour wants the country to leave NATO. In his opinion, France should “reunite with its tradition of independence.”

“Therefore, I want France to withdraw from the unified military command of NATO,” said Mr Zemmour at a campaign rally (quoted by BFMTV).

At the rally, the candidate announced the creation of his own Reconquista movement. He criticizes both the authorities and the parliamentary opposition. Mr. Zemmour promises to stop migration flows.

Before the rally, a man attacked the candidate. He grabbed Eric Zemmur by the neck. There were also clashes between supporters and opponents of the candidate. 46 people were detained for violating the security perimeter in Villepinte.
