Somewhere in the 80s, a singer named Rami Klinstein burst into consciousness, the joint debut “On the Day of the Bomb”. Since then, this singer slowly continued to conquer more than thousands of hearts of Israeli listeners, conquering the world of music both as a singer and as a writer and composer. In honor of his round birthday (60) and the changing of the prefix, we have prepared here the list of Rami’s ten songs that entered our hearts!

One of the singles with which Rami made his big break into the world of music, is the song “Ash” whose words were written by Hana Goldenberg and Rami is the one who composed and arranged the song himself. At the time of the release of the single, the song was presented as a candidate for the weekly song charts of the C network, was successful and was even ranked in the tenth place of the annual chart on that station. The fire came quietly, but the song made a lot of noise.
You are anyway
With the entry into the early 2000s, Rami’s ex-partner, is she Rita, released the song “You are there anyway” from the album “Hyxen”, when within the album it was released under the title “Alit Li Be Zikron”. The song was written by Meir Ariel and Rami Ebad arranged and composed the song. Another performance of the song that does not shame the original, is of course the performance by Dodo Tessa that was released in 2004.
matter of time
“You will still discover the world, whether you want it or not”: one of Rami’s genius and outstanding works in terms of melody and musical arrangement. The song was written by Ehud Menor and performed by Gidi Gov. The song came out in two versions: a quiet one and a rhythmic one, and it also served as the theme song for the youth series broadcast during the 90s – “A Matter of Time”.
wrapped in mercy
One of Rita’s famous songs, “Wrapped in Mercy”, instantly became a hit that we still enjoy today. In addition to the fact that the song was successful due to Rita’s tremendous vocals, it is also due to the composition and musical arrangement of Klinstein and Ehud Banai who wrote the song. We totally fell in love.
Apples and dates
One of Rami’s performances that became a soundtrack among many Israeli listeners is of course the song “Apples and Dates” whose words were written by Eitan Nachmias and composed by Rami himself. Undoubtedly, one of the most touching Israeli songs.
wherever you go
One of the unforgettable hits of Maimon’s songs, became one thanks to Maimon’s pure voice and also to Rami’s melody and also to his genius writing together with Tami Stamari and Erez Barzolik. This is what is called, a recipe for a successful song.
On the old bridge
“You built a house and carved it forever”, one of Rami’s masterpieces, is the song “On the Old Bridge”, a song written by Tzarua Lahav and composed and performed in a very moving way by Rami himself. In two words: a song for the Pantheon.
A private moment
One of the songs that will always give us chills is without a doubt the song “Rege Priti” which is another huge hit composed by Rami for Rita, written by Ehud Manor. Rita? She just wanted to sing and she did it great.
Forever Young
The original song was written, performed and composed by the musical legend Bob Dylan, the current Prime Minister, Yair Lapid translated his words into the Hebrew and the winning version, and Rami composed and performed it together with Rita and even performed it alone.
small gifts
It was clear that we would get to this song, right? We saved the best for last. One of Rami’s legendary songs he performed, composed himself and the lyrics were written by Noam Horev. The song also has a small story, Noam Horev wrote the song on a Friday while he was in Thailand and this out of longing for an Israeli Friday atmosphere before the start of Shabbat. Rami actually intended to record another song called “Morning Tov Yild”, but the plans changed and Rami recorded “Matonat Ketos” and thus an unforgettable alternative was created. The song is called “small gifts” but thanks to Rami, it is actually one big gift.
