The final composition of the Council of Ministers after the rotation should be agreed between Nikolay Denkov and Maria Gabriel this week. This points to the kind of “chronogram” that the prime minister outlined.

Last week, the academic revealed that Gabrielle had asked to hold separate talks with each of the ministers. And yesterday he clarified that this process has already ended.

“Our last conversation with Mrs. Gabriel ended as follows: I told her that I had reviewed the work of the ministers. She also said that she did a review, but also that she wanted to meet with the ministers one by one to clarify – if something is not done, why it is not and what are the priorities for the next period. We agreed that it would take her about two weeks, which was the end of last week, and then we should sit down together and discuss. So far, this follow-up conversation has not taken place”, said Denkov.

Once the two have finalized the final list, it must be presented to the parliamentary groups for approval.

The healthy Hristo Hinkov will certainly be replaced, as he himself wished. Other ministers have not refused. We have told everyone: “Work on the management program, there is no reason to slow down. Citizens expect decisions that will be useful for them”, explained the prime minister.

There is no news on the big dispute over who will be foreign minister. PP-DB continue to maintain that it is Denkov in order to keep the formation’s “outlet” to foreign policy, and GERB – that the post is the only one of the party and it should be kept. There was also talk of dividing Externally. The current prime minister could become vice plus minister for European affairs – just as the parliament has an external committee and one for the EU and Schengen, headed respectively by the leaders Boyko Borisov and Kiril Petkov.
