Gad Elmaleh came to Israel to launch his new film

The festive screening was attended by Israel Ktorza, Elmaleh’s good friend who accompanies the comedian throughout his visit to Israel. Joy Rieger along with her mother, Ido Mosari, and Albert Illuz also came to honor the great star and take pictures excitedly. The director Shlomi Elkebats also came and was even complimented by Gad who said “It is my dream to make a film with my mother and his mother”.

In the movie “Stay with us” Elimelach plays himself and cast his parents in the main roles. The film tells the story of a successful comedian who returned to France while hiding the secret of his conversion to Christianity and his Jewish family’s dealings with the issue.
