Galaxy S23 revealed in official images

by time news

Unlike previous years where almost every detail about the upcoming Galaxy series was leaked months in advance, it seems that this year Samsung has managed to maintain relative secrecy when it comes to the new Galaxy S23 series. Only now, a little more than two weeks before the official announcement, official images of the various Galaxy S23 models and the colors that will arrive have been leaked online.

In the photos, you can get the impression that Galaxy S23, as expected, does not bring with it dramatic changes in design compared to its predecessor. The general appearance and proportions have been kept almost the same, with the only significant change being in the appearance of the rear camera array which now does not come within a long metallic protrusion. The result is a minimalist and cleaner design, although according to rumors the photo sensors themselves will remain almost unchanged from the previous model.

Also this year, Samsung will offer the series with quite a variety of colors. Black (Phantom Black), white cream (Cotton Flower), green (Botanic Green) and lilac (Misty Lilac), while some models like the Ultra will be available in a smaller number of colors.

In terms of specifications, it is already known that this time Samsung will rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips. The S23 will have a 6.1-inch OLED display, Full HD Plus resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device will be offered for sale in white, black, green and purple colors. The base S23 will come with a minimum of 128GB of storage, while the more expensive Pro and Ultra models will start at 256.

The official announcement event, Galaxy Unpacked, will be held on February 1 at 20:00 Israel time.
