Thiruvananthapuram – Gang leader Puthanpalam Rajesh and his friend Sabu surrendered before the police. He surrendered at the Medical College police station. The court had suggested to surrender before 21st.
The police had registered a case after Puthanpalam Rajesh threatened the ambulance drivers of the medical college by brandishing a machete. The escape car was found from the medical college but Rajesh was absconding.

The police have not yet been able to nab Omprakash, another gangster. Omprakash is chasing the police from state to state. The police team that went to Hyderabad for the second time in search of Omprakash returned empty-handed. The police also searched for Omprakash in places like Bengaluru, Chennai and Mysuru.
