Garbage collectors’ strike in Paris: a new notice filed for April 13

Garbage was beginning to disappear from the streets of Paris. A lull soon interrupted because the CGT filed a new “renewable and indefinite” strike notice for the garbage collectors, from April 13, against the pension reform. In a letter sent to Mayor Anne Hidalgo on Monday, the CGT FTDNEEA (Waste processing, cleaning and water, sewage, sanitation sector) in Paris also calls on sector personnel to “actively and massively participate in inter-union action days and interprofessional days to come, and in particular that of April 6, 2023 “.
