On April 17, the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) determined that the former Tamaulipas president could not be eligible as a multi-member deputy due to the current arrest warrants and his alleged evasion of justice, including a search form from the Interpol.

Given this, the PAN politician has strongly criticized the INE, pointing out that it acts in a “arbitrary and illegal“, in addition to using confidential information to affect his candidacy.

Hours before the statement dated 2 days ago was released, the representative of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) before the electoral authority, Sergio Gutierrez Luna accused that the National Action Party (PAN) searched in a “foolish and absurd” restore the candidacy of Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca.
