The Investigative Court number 12 of Madrid has refused to investigate Dina Bousselham for false testimony, as the investigator of the Villarejo case, Manuel García Castellón, intended. The judge of the National Court had denounced Pablo Iglesias’ former collaborator before the Plaza de Castilla courts because she saw evidence that she had lied to him during the investigation of what is known as the ‘Dina case’. Judge Dolores Baeza has archived the proceedings that she was forced to open at the request of García Castellón.

In September 2022, the judge of the National Court deducted testimony from the Madrid courts for being competent in the case of a possible crime of false testimony. The letter was directed against Bousselham and his former partner Ricardo Sa Ferreira. The investigator of the Villarejo case adopted the decision at the request of Prolege, an association close to the PP, and against the criteria of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. Prolege, like Vox, could make such a request because they are represented as a popular accusation in piece 10 of the Villarejo case, which investigates the dissemination of information about Bousselham’s mobile phone.
