What kind of renter is Apollo targeting? The project aims to attract employees from nearby aerospace and technology companies, offering modern amenities and a convenient location. Rents currently range between $2,750 and $4,496, according to a leasing website for the property.

The complex, situated just south of El Segundo Boulevard, features a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Each unit includes in-unit washer-dryer sets and stainless steel appliances, with select units offering private balconies and walk-in closets. Residents will also have access to a pool deck, a fitness center, and several outdoor courtyards.

The Apollo complex is located in a rapidly developing area, benefiting from its proximity to major employers like SpaceX and Ring, driving demand for housing.

AC Martin designed the contemporary podium-style building, while Westport Construction oversaw the construction process. Nadia Geller Designs and MJS Landscape Architecture also contributed to the project.

This isn’t the only recent development in the area. A similar mixed-use project was completed just one block north in Hawthorne in 2021. Cityview, the Los Angeles-based developer, recently acquired a site in Westchester to build a 441-unit mixed-use apartment complex east of Sepulveda Boulevard.

The completion of Apollo adds to the growing number of housing options in the South Bay, catering to the workforce driving innovation in the region.
