In this sense, the authorities have revealed that fraudsters have prerecorded sound confirmation of credit card payment, thus deceiving workers who are usually carrying out more than one task at the same time and wait for the well-known mobile confirmation tone to move on to the next customer.

Thanks to this new alert, the authorities have recommended service station workers not to let any customer leave without first having a confirmation final fuel bill. They also add that by making this type of confirmation we can avoid the well-known scam attempt.
