Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 with Stuttgart and are keeping alive their dream of becoming the first team in the history of the German League to become champions without defeat.
Playing at home, the team led by Xabi Alonso even dominated the first half, but the goals came in the second 45 minutes, only for the visiting team. Chris Fuhrich and Deniz Undav put Stuttgart up 2-0 in ten minutes.
However, as has been the case throughout the season, Leverkusen are one of those who don’t give up and at 62, Amine Adli reduced the deficit, with an assist from Grimaldo.
But the real coup de theater arrived well after the 90th minute, when Robert Andrich received the ball inside the area and in the last play of the game, shot into the back of the net and to the complete delight of the Leverkusen fans.
