An unfortunate event shook the town of Chivirico, in Santiago de Cuba, when a traffic accident resulted in multiple injuries, including the driver of the vehicle, who suffered serious injuries that put his life at risk.
The news was spread by Irma Broek in the Facebook group “Denouncing crimes in Cuba”, where no further details related to the case were specified.
According to the report provided, the accident occurred in circumstances still under investigation, but the severity of the injuries suffered by the driver of the car stands out, who, according to reports, is fighting in a local hospital.
“In Chivirico, Santiago de Cuba, an unfortunate accident occurred where several people were injured, including the driver of the car with serious injuries that put his life in danger”were the words of the activist.
The publication was accompanied by a photograph of the incident, showing a car and a bus seriously affected.
This event highlights, once again, the deficiencies in road safety in the region, an issue that, of course, is not of the slightest interest to the authorities.
Unfortunately, traffic accidents in the largest of the Antilles continue to be part of the “daily bread” of all the people, another problem that is included in the list of concerns that, today, seems endless.
