New Delhi: Pakistani film actresses have rejected the allegation that women are being used as traps to trap politicians. Adil Raja, a retired officer from the Pakistan Army, made this allegation in a video released on YouTube. Pakistani actresses Sajal Ali, Kubra Khan and Mehwish Hayat denied the allegations.
Sajal Ali is the actor who acted opposite actress Sridevi in the Bollywood movie ‘Mom’. She wrote on Twitter that committing suicide is the worst form of humanity and a sin. She also noted that it is sad that the country is in a morally degraded and abominable state.
Adil Raja claimed that the army was using the country’s actresses to trap politicians. Although the names of the actresses were not revealed, some hints were given. The names of some actresses started to be discussed in the social media. These were widely circulated. Sajal Ali, Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan and Mehwish Hayat are being discussed.
Kubra Khan also stated that he will file a complaint against Adil Raja. The response was through a note posted on Instagram. They have demanded to produce evidence within three days or apologize publicly.
Mehwish Hayat, who played ‘Ms Marvel’ in the Marvel show, has also called the allegations baseless. Meanwhile, Mahira Khan has not responded.
