Despite losing Eze, Palace enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, impressively going unbeaten in their first 11 games across all competitions. this initial success offered fans a reason for optimism. He revealed that during a recent match, “I see the performance today for 50, 60 minutes – it was not easy with all the circumstances going here with 12 players from the squad.” He painted a stark picture of the bench, noting, “I look at the bench, I can’t react, just kids on the bench, and this has not happened yesterday, this is weeks ago.”
This lack of experienced depth is a major source of concern, and the manager acknowledged his frustration with the situation.

Despite the mounting pressure and challenges, the manager emphatically dismissed any suggestion of leaving his post before the end of the season. “No, never, I would never,” he asserted. “I will go with this group of players until the end.” He emphasized his deep respect for the players’ character,acknowledging their disappointment and dedication.
“I have so much respect for their character. I see they’re disappointed and I know how hard they are working, I see how hard they are fighting at the end. Never, no chance,” he added. He stressed the importance of unity within the squad, stating, “I have said to the players we have to stick together, if we don’t get the support its us that have to do it. There is nobody else, we are the only ones, we are the ones who have to play.”
