Tirupur: Nualpal, operating in Tarapuram, has received Gold Green Certification from Confederation of Indian Industries.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), operates the Green Industry Centre. The Center provides green certification under the name ‘Green Go’ to the companies that are involved in green conservation. A dairy (RRD, Tex) operating in Tarapuram, Tirupur district, applied for Green Go certification for the current year. Nualpaal works with many green conservation features like solar, wind power generation, massive rain water harvesting structure, techniques to control production costs, plantation of saplings.

Nualpala has received the gold standard certificate from Green Co. at the national level after an expert panel gave a score of 700. Similarly, a dye plant (Best Color Solution) in Perundurai has received a silver standard with 600 marks.

Dhanapal, Joint Managing Director of the Gold Certified Company said, Our aim is to do business in a way that does not harm the green. The award encourages the move towards green. By consistently adhering to best practices, production costs are reduced; Green security is also ensured,’ he said.

VRNC’s company director Ajjaya Manavalan said, “Our goal is to get the green clothing manufacturing companies in Tirupur by 2025. For the second time now, it is a pleasure to get a gold standard certificate from CII for a company from Tirupur,” he said.
