jpnn.comJAKARTA – Golkar Deputy General Chair Ahmad Doli Kurnia said his party hopes to get a proportional number of seats in the government cabinet of the candidate pair elected in the 2024 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka presidential election.
Doli conveyed this in response to journalists’ questions about Golkar’s hopes, regarding the allocation of ministerial seats in the next government cabinet.
“Yes, we (Golkar) hope to get proportional seats, which is good,” said Doli after a friendly meeting with Minister of State Secretary Pratikno at the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Thursday.
Doli said that the most important thing is that the people who occupy cabinet seats will be professional people who want to contribute to helping the president in running the government.
“I think it has to be the best, most qualified people, who we will endorse later, which was agreed upon by Pak Prabowo and Pak Airlangga (Golkar General Chair Airlangga Hartarto),” he said.
Doli said that the indicator of a professional person is someone who understands the field they are assigned to, including having integrity.
“And in Golkar there are many, all the cadres are the best,” said Doli. (antara/jpnn)
Golkar hopes that in 2024 the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet will be able to get a proportional share of ministers.
