Godavari: The bodies of 9 passengers have been recovered so far after a government bus plunged into a river in Andhra Pradesh.
With the help of the public, firefighters are searching for others who were traveling in the bus and drowned in the river.
Preliminary information has come out that the government bus lost control when it crossed the bridge and overturned in the river.
A government bus carrying a driver, driver and 24 passengers was traveling in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district. The bus was going over the bridge to cross the river near Elur in the Janagaretti Koodam area. Then the bus suddenly lost control. Thus the bus sank in the river. So far 9 bodies including 5 women have been recovered in the accident. The rest are being searched by firefighters with the help of local people. There are fears that everyone may have died as the bus sank into the water.
