The Government of Ceará published a notice to select companies interested in participating in the 1st edition of the “Tourism Fair Meet Brazil”, an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism (Mtur) in partnership with the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur-CE).
Scheduled to take place on May 18th, in person – and from May 18th to 20th, 2024, in virtual format, only on company websites – the event aims at the participation of agencies and operators interested in offering special ticket payment conditions flights, accommodation, cruises, travel packages and tourist tours, as a way of boosting tourism in the country.
According to the public call, 20 companies will be selected for the 1st edition of the Feirão. The Government of Ceará will bear the necessary costs to hold the event, so that it will accommodate all participating companies.
The Secretary of Tourism of Ceará, Yrwana Albuquerque, highlights that the event will be an excellent showcase for promoting tourism throughout the country. “This is an important project by the Ministry of Tourism, supported by the Government of Ceará, with the aim of promoting the tourist flow throughout the country. We will join forces with the entire trade to sell packages and offer special conditions so that people from Ceará can get to know our own destination and others in the country”, she emphasizes.
