With the traditional rope cutting and the premiere of the El Vaquero Event Hallthe work of the Government of Sonora, the governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño inaugurated the ExpoGan Sonora 2024in its 39th edition.
The state president called on the people of Sonora to build a culture of healthy coexistence and enjoy the livestock festival, which will last until Sunday, May 19, to later begin the exhibition of The Largest Saddle in the World, work carried out by the Government of Sonora and which has held the Guinness Record since last November in Moctezuma.
Accompanied by his wife, the president of DIF Sonora, Rocío Chávez Murillo, Governor Durazo visited the ExpoGan facilities and unveiled the statue and plaque of the El Vaquero event hall, and then inaugurated the facilities of the Livestock Training Center of Mexico.
The Government of Sonora carried out the remodeling works on the ExpoGan facilities, where more than 400 thousand attendees are expected.
