Police area Nordvästra Skåne is one of the police areas within region South and extends over ten municipalities. Police area Nordvästra Skåne divided into four local police areas: Helsingborg, Ängelholm, Klippan and Landskrona. Local police area Helsingborg is part of police area Northwest Skåne. Within the local police area there are intervention and crime prevention activities, investigation groups, dog group, traffic group as well as support and service. The Ordningsgruppen is a joint police area group that is organizationally located at Lpo Helsingborg.

Local police area Helsingborg is to expand with another orderly group and we are now looking for a group leader for the new one.

Job description

As a manager in LPO Helsingborg, you report to the head of the local police area and are part of the local police area’s management group, where you are jointly responsible for carrying out assignments and driving the agency’s change and development work. You have particular responsibility for the group’s activities in the police area and its results. As a group leader, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

Being a manager and leader within the Police Authority means creating security and building trust by exercising sincere, courageous and responsive leadership with trust in the competence and ability of others. As a manager, you drive development by inspiring and encouraging reflection and feedback in a way that assumes we follow the law and treat people equally. You create the conditions and work for good relationships that contribute to us acting together based on what is best for the citizens and the mission as a whole.

Area police operations are central to the police’s crime prevention work and now we are looking for you who will drive this work, in an assignment to work long-term with contact-making, crime prevention and safety-creating measures based on a developed problem picture. The orderly group are area police officers with enhanced capabilities.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have
– at least 6 months of continuous experience of having worked as a supervisor, project manager or similar in the last five-year period
– police training according to Ordinance (2014:1105) on training for police officers
– experience in the Police Authority’s area of ​​operation
– experience of participating in change and development work

We see it as meritorious if, in addition to this, you also have
– experience in leading others towards set goals and results
– included in management forum
– experience of participating in/cooperating with social actors outside the police organization/own organization
– management and leadership training for direct, indirect and/or strategic level
– experience as external commander
– at least 6 months of investigative experience
