All teams must play 14 matches in the group stage. Of these, seven will be considered as home matches and seven as away matches. There will be a total of 70 matches in the league.

First you have to play two matches with the other four teams in the group. This is followed by two matches against the team in the seam seed in the next group and then four matches against each of the four teams in their own group.

For example, Mumbai Indians will play two matches against four other teams in Group A: Kolkata, Rajasthan, Delhi and Lucknow. After that, they will play two matches against Chennai, the same seed in Group B. After that, each match will be played as a group A team.

The matches will be played in four stadiums in Mumbai and Pune. There will be 20 matches in Wankhede. There will be 15 matches at the CCI Stadium in Mumbai, 20 matches at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and 15 matches at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

However, the final fixture of the match has not been released. The IPL officials have announced that the schedule will be released in the first week of March.
