Due to his severe autism, the young man was declared unfit to testify at his trial, the end of a nightmare for Rockstar Games and one of the most significant leaks in video game history. The hacker will therefore be hospitalized until otherwise advised by doctors, the latter being “very motivated” by the idea of ​​carrying out other cyberattacks in the future.

During the hacking of the GTA game publisher, Arion Kurtaj was under police surveillance after being arrested for hacking the American multinational Nvidia. Under house arrest in a hotel room, he was prohibited from accessing a computer.

But he had managed to infiltrate Rockstar Games’ computer system, using a cell phone, a keyboard, a television and an Amazon Fire Stick remote control, a device for broadcasting Internet content on his television.

Result: 90 clips from GTA VI, one of the most anticipated games of the last ten years, had been stolen. A leak that cost the New York publisher $5 million.
