The Secretary of Education, Egla Cornelio, highlights that, during the last almost four years, it has been possible to give resignation, job stability and legal security to more than 9 thousand workers in the educational sector in the entity.
The Secretary of Education of the State of Tabasco (SETAB) granted basicization to more than 900 teachers and educational support and assistance personnel, thus fulfilling the commitment of this government to provide job certainty to the Tabasco educational sector.
Together with Governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos, the head of the SETAB, Egla Cornelio Landero, maintained that with these actions the work of teachers as fundamental agents of teaching-learning is redignified, while at the same time the work is recognized of the public service that administrative workers carry out every day.
“Today we are publicly delivering 918 documents that serve as appointments to their respective positions, thus providing job stability and legal security in the right to work for all those qualified,” he highlighted.
In that sense, he also announced that from 2020 to 2023, more than 9 thousand workers in the State Educational System have been classified as basic workers, “with which we also strengthen regulatory improvement, since that is an obligation that all “We have to provide public service with efficiency and quality, and the human right to good administration.”
The person responsible for educational policy in Tabasco highlighted that job security is a fundamental premise that workers aspire to, which is why the sector continues on the path of implementation and consolidation of the Educational Reform published on May 15, 2019, by the President of Mexico and Governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos.

He emphasized that they also guarantee that the right to education continues to be strengthened and commented that there are more than 1,216 properties in the educational sector that have been intervened during this period, which shows that teamwork pays great dividends.

After making a symbolic delivery to teachers and educational support and assistance personnel, Governor Carlos Manuel Merino Campos assured that the State Government grants and guarantees them certainty and job stability, so that they continue their tasks of educational reconciliation and well-being of girls. , children, adolescents and young people.
