The future general director then rose through the ranks within the SLN for 16 years. There he became head of the mining center, head of human resources, director of operational improvement, then director of mines until 2021.

After a three-year break at the head of the company Grande Côte Opérations in Senegal, Guillaume Kurek recently returned to SLN to support Jérôme Fabre.
