He is the first player from the University of Wyoming to be invited to the combine since offensive lineman Frank Crum and linebacker Easton Gibbs participated in 2024.
Gyllenborg concluded a remarkable career with the Cowboys, finishing his tenure with 80 receptions for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns. Throughout his career, he recorded 17 games with three or more receptions.
This past season, the tight end recorded 24 receptions for 217 yards and one touchdown. He achieved a career-high six receptions in his final collegiate game against Hawai’i. Gyllenborg was twice named to the John Mackey Award Preseason Watch list.
As a junior, he tallied 30 receptions for 425 yards with three touchdowns, earning All-Mountain West honors. He had 23 receptions with three scores during his sophomore year. Over his career, Gyllenborg averaged 12.8 yards per reception.
Gyllenborg also participated in the Senior Bowl in January, contributing to a 17-9 victory for the American team with a six-yard reception.
The NFL Scouting Combine will be televised on the NFL Network beginning February 26.
