Hapoel Hadera recovered from the sixth that it suffered from Maccabi Tel Aviv with a victory over Maccabi Bnei Rayna and a home draw against Hapoel Haifa, and tonight (Sunday) it ended in a 1:1 draw with Kiryat Shmona City.
Hadera looked much better in the first half and kicked more towards the goal of Zigos Bartakos, but the first half was characterized by a lot of physicality and maintaining formations rather than attempts on goal. The second half continued with the good ability of Nimani’s team, but it was actually Kiryat Shmona that took the lead in the 54th minute from the legs of Mohamed Shekar. In the 69th minute, Sami Borar further complicated Hadera with a straight red card after a sharp step on Yoav Hoffmeister’s leg. Even though it is with ten players, and with four substitutions of Assaf Niemani, Niv Gottlieb who came off the bench scored a valuable debut goal that divided the points in the stadium in Netanya.
Both teams remain after the fifth round with an identical record of a win, a loss and three draws. Hadera can be satisfied that she leaves the game with a point in ten players, but records a fourth game in a row without a win.
