In a country that has experienced several devastating earthquakes, and where the unpunished assassination of its president, Jovenel Moïse, in July 2021, left the field open to a gang war, the population lives in a climate of total insecurity. Added to this violence and disasters is an economic and social crisis and an absence of a State which causes poverty, malnutrition and poor health, aggravated by the massive flight of graduates and caregivers in particular.
