Actress Han Ye-seul has emerged as a financial genius, owning a large number of real estate properties.
According to the real estate industry on the 13th, Han Ye-seul sold the building located at 100-7 Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 7 billion won in 2021. It was confirmed that 3.6 billion won was collected in just three years in market profit.
This building, completed in 1985, has a land area of 213.7 m2, a total floor area of 263.82 m2, and one floor underground and three floors above ground. It is located on a hill leading from Hakdong Intersection to Gangnam-gu Office Station on Subway Line 7 and Suin Bundang Line.
Han Ye-seul purchased this building for 3.42 billion won in June 2018 with a loan of 2 billion won. At the time, many pointed out that the building in question was a bad investment due to its limitations in commercial expansion, but later, as the popularity of small buildings increased, the price rose significantly.
Han Ye-seul owns a luxury villa located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, which was sold in November 2016. At the time, the sale price was in the low 3 billion won range, but it was later traded for more than 4 billion won, earning him the reputation of having a keen eye for real estate investment.
In 2011, it became a hot topic when it was revealed that he had purchased real estate in Los Angeles, USA, where his hometown is located. It is reported that the LA building in question is a three-story building worth KRW 3.3 billion, located in the core area of Koreatown, and has a total floor area of approximately 2,680 m2.
It is known that Han Ye-seul also purchased ‘Michelan 147’, a residential-commercial complex located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s actual transaction price disclosure system, Michelan 147’s 84㎡ (20th floor) property was traded for 1.65 billion won in September 2021, and a lease contract was signed for 820 million won early this month.
They also purchased the luxury apartment ‘Galleria Foret’ in Seongsu-dong, widely known as the so-called ‘celebrity apartment’. At Galleria Foret, in August last year, a 217㎡ unit was traded for 9 billion won, and a 241㎡ unit was traded for 10 billion won.
