Egyptian singer Hani Shaker recently suffered a severe health crisis, which caused him to lose the ability to move properly, forcing him to undergo delicate spinal surgery.
Shaker issued a media statement in which he revealed the latest developments in his health condition, stressing that Hani Shaker’s health condition is stable and reassuring, and indicating that the operation that was performed on him to stabilize vertebrae in the spine was successful, and that he is currently recovering well.
The singer of the song “Birthday of My Wound” explained that, according to doctors’ instructions, he will undergo a period of rest extending to ten days, and will return to practicing his artistic activity starting January 31, 2026.
The statement indicated that all announced concerts will be held on their scheduled dates without change, and include concerts in Paris on February 13, 2026, and Beirut on February 14 as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations, in addition to a concert in Cairo on April 2, 2026.
The statement pointed out that Hani Shaker recently finished recording a new Lebanese song titled “Except Me and You,” composed by Ahmed Barakat, lyrics by Mazen Daher, arranged by Zaher Deeb, and recorded by Hossam Al-Sabi.
At the conclusion of the statement, the Prince of Arab Singing thanked his fans and fans for their support, interest and sincere prayers, expressing his great longing to return to the stage and meet his fans soon.
